Stolen U-Haul Truck Recovered, Suspect Arrested in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police officers arrested a man for possessing a stolen U-Haul truck in the city’s Northern District.

The arrest occurred on November 22, 2023, at around 12:51 a.m. Officers, while patrolling the 1700 block of Fleet Street, spotted the stolen vehicle. They initiated a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Broadway and made contact with the driver, identified as 52-year-old Jeffrey Henderson.

Investigations revealed that Henderson had failed to return the rented U-Haul truck to a 26-year-old woman on November 9, 2023. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact Henderson, the vehicle was reported stolen by the complainant.

Henderson was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges related to the stolen vehicle.
