West New York Police Arrest Five in Drug Bust

WEST NEW YORK, NJ — On August 31, West New York Police, alongside Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Violent Gang Task Force and the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Gang Task Force, arrested five individuals on charges of drug possession and distribution.

Those arrested are believed to be associated with the “Trinitarios” Dominican street gang.

The individuals, Wanderson Ceballo-Ramos, Ingri Cruz-Villatoro, Wellington Cruz, Angel Diaz, and Christian Gomez, were apprehended without incident during the execution of court-authorized search warrants.

The operation, stemming from a 4-month investigation, led to the seizure of cocaine and crack/cocaine worth an estimated $20,000.

Additionally, a significant amount of cash and two loaded handguns were seized.
