Philadelphia Man Shot and Killed on Heston Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 20-year-old man was shot and killed last night in Philadelphia’s 19th District.

The incident occurred on the 5200 block of Heston Street around 7:53 PM. The victim, identified only by his age and race by police, suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and under the chin.

Philadelphia Police Department officers transported the victim to Lankenau Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:14 PM.

At present, no suspect has been apprehended in connection with the shooting. However, two firearms were recovered at the scene, which remains under investigation.

The Philadelphia Police Department is actively investigating the case and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
