TOKYO (Reuters) – Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda said on Monday the central bank cannot say yet with conviction that inflation will sustainably and stably achieve its 2% inflation target.

“We’re seeing some positive signs in wages and inflation. But there’s high uncertainty on whether this cycle will strengthen,” Ueda told parliament.
