Three Suspects Arrested in Landover Hills Murder Case

LANDOVER HILLS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit has apprehended three individuals in connection to the murder of 45-year-old Frederico Cruz Ojeda of Landover Hills.

The suspects, identified as 47-year-old Eris Lopez, 20-year-old Omar Valdez Granados, and 20-year-old German Escobar Hernandez, all hailing from Lanham, face murder charges.

On the evening of Thursday, around 7:15 pm, officers were called to a shooting on the 7100 block of Webster Street.

Upon arrival, they discovered Ojeda with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Initial investigations indicate the shooting occurred during a dispute among individuals who knew each other.
