Man Charged for POinting Gun During Incident in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, PA – The Allentown Police Department made an arrest following a domestic disturbance report in the 900 block of Chew Street.

Lloyd Saunders, a 44-year-old with no fixed address, was apprehended for pointing a handgun at a victim and making threats.

The incident occurred on Monday, at approximately 12:30 am. Saunders fled the scene but was soon located by patrol officers, who recovered a .22 caliber revolver from him.

Saunders faces charges including possession of firearms, terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment.

As per protocol, Saunders is presumed innocent until proven guilty, and no further comments have been made on the investigation.
