SARATOGA COUNTY, NY – David T. Henderson of Fort Edward, NY, was sentenced on March 12, to 8 years in state prison followed by 3 years of post-release supervision.

This sentence, handed down by Saratoga County Court Judge James A. Murphy III, is for Henderson’s conviction of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class “B” felony.

The arrest was part of a broader investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office into regional drug dealing.

A search of Henderson’s vehicle uncovered significant quantities of cocaine and fentanyl pills. Henderson, with prior felony drug convictions, forfeited his SUV used in the drug transactions.

This sentence is part of a wider disposition involving drug charges in Washington County.
