Columbus Police Arrest Teen Suspect in East Weber Road Shooting

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Police Department has arrested Payton B. Rice, 17, in connection with a fatal shooting on E. Weber Rd on Tuesday.

Rice is charged with the murder of Kenjuan K. Howard, 26, and two counts of felonious assault.

The incident occurred on Monday.

Howard was seen with three persons of interest before the shooting. The Columbus Police no longer consider the other two persons of interest in this case. The public is asked to provide any information about this case to the Columbus Police Homicide Unit.
