QUEENS, NY – Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced the arrest of Amanda Chen, 39, and Sheng Lin, 42, from Flushing, on multiple drug-related charges.

The pair were found in possession of drugs valued at over $600,000 and substantial cash.

Chen and Lin face 17 counts, including criminal possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia use. Their arraignment followed a raid on their Northern Boulevard penthouse, where authorities discovered drugs, including amphetamines, MDMA, oxycodone, and psilocybin mushrooms, along with $37,502 in cash.

DA Katz emphasized the importance of removing these drugs from the streets, acknowledging the potential harm they pose to the community. The search of their residence on November 28 yielded a significant stash of various drugs hidden in multiple locations, including bedroom closets and kitchen drawers. Investigators also recovered a pill press machine and parts in the defendants’ BMW.

Chen faces a maximum of 20 years in prison, while Lin could face up to 24 years. They are due back in court as per Judge Jessica Earle-Gargan’s orders. The case stands as a major strike against drug trafficking in Queens.
