Hatfield Police Investigate After Man Struck by Gunfire Inside Home

HATFIELD, PA – The Hatfield Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday, around 8:10 PM.

The incident took place in the vicinity of Forest Hills Drive and Moyer Road in Hatfield Township, Montgomery County.

According to police, “An adult male was inside his home when he was struck by a bullet that was fired from outside of the home. The patient was transported to Lansdale Jefferson Hospital by the Volunteer Medical Service Corps (VMSC) and treated for non-life threatening injures prior to being discharged. No other injuries were reported.”

Details surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. The Hatfield Police Department’s Detective Division is seeking witnesses or anyone with information related to this incident.
