Montgomery County Police Seek Suspect Wanted For Gaithersburg Auto Theft

GAITHERSBURG, MD – The Montgomery County Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit – Auto Crime Enforcement Section (ACES) is seeking public help in identifying a suspect involved in the theft of a 2017 Hyundai Sonata.

The vehicle was reported stolen on October 15, 2023, between 3:30 and 7:30 a.m. and was later found outside of Montgomery County. Investigators have obtained photos of the suspect through their investigation.

The suspect is described as a Black male, dressed in a black coat with a fur hood, black pants featuring a white stripe on the side, and white shoes. Anyone with information regarding this individual or the incident is encouraged to contact the Montgomery County Police Department.
