Stolen Subaru WRX Recovered, Warrant Issued for Brooklyn Man

MAPLEWOOD, NJ – A 2019 Subaru WRX reported stolen from a Springfield Ave business in Maplewood was recovered in Springfield, NJ, on the night of November 26.

The vehicle’s owner had left it unsecured with keys inside. Following the recovery, Maplewood Police issued a warrant for Nika Khatiashvili, a 29-year-old resident of Brooklyn, NY, as part of their ongoing investigation into the vehicle theft. The circumstances leading to the recovery of the vehicle and the details of the investigation remain under review.
