PEMBERTON TOWNSHIP, NJ – On Thursday, Mayor Jack Tompkins announced immediate actions to address the missed trash collections in the Presidential Lakes community.

Reports of uncollected trash on the scheduled day prompted the Mayor to directly engage with Seaside Waste Services, Inc., the township’s contracted provider.

Kevin Schaffer, President of Seaside Waste, attributed the delay to mechanical failures of multiple collection vehicles. In response, Seaside Waste has committed to acquiring 13 new garbage trucks to prevent future service disruptions.

To address the current situation, Seaside Waste prioritized trash collection in Presidential Lakes on Thursday. However, this has led to a temporary impact on services in other areas, expected to last until December 2.

Residents experiencing continued service issues are advised to contact Seaside Waste Services at (609)561-0441.
