14-Year-Old Charged in Baltimore Carjacking Case

BALTIMORE, MD – A 14-year-old suspect has been apprehended in a carjacking incident, as reported by the Baltimore Police Department. The arrest occurred following a Western District patrol near Hilton and Edmondson Avenue.

On November 27, around 2:15 p.m., officers spotted a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta, previously reported as carjacked, moving north on Poplar Grove. The driver abandoned the vehicle in the 2000 block of Ruxton Avenue, leading to a brief foot chase.

The young suspect was detained in the rear of the 2000 block of N. Smallwood Street and taken to Juvenile Booking.

Charges against the individual include carjacking. The Baltimore Police Department continues investigating the incident, emphasizing its commitment to public safety and crime prevention. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
