Five North Jersey Street Gang Members Arrested for Drug Trafficking

NEWARK, N.J. – Five individuals have been charged for their involvement in a drug trafficking organization in Essex County. U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger announced the charges, which are connected to the Sex, Money, Murder street gang.

Fuquan Williams, Dwight Dixon, Nafee Patterson, Jabriel Mason, and Daqwuan Barkley face conspiracy charges related to distributing fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine.

Additional charges include firearm possession and intent to distribute narcotics.

The defendants operated in the Kent and Brenner streets area in Newark. Their arrests led to the recovery of multiple firearms and narcotics.

Mason, Patterson, and Barkley have been released on bail, while Williams and Dixon remain detained. Patterson and Williams face additional gun-related charges.
