GAITHERSBURG, MD – The Montgomery County Department of Police is actively investigating the death of 60-year-old Charles Claggett.
On Tuesday, Gaithersburg Police Department officers responded to a distress call at the 200 block of Old Macdonald Rd.
Upon arrival, around 8:10 a.m., they found Claggett unresponsive. Despite attempts at resuscitation by Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel, Claggett was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division has taken charge of the investigation. Detectives are piecing together the circumstances surrounding Claggett’s death and ask to the public for any relevant information.
