Two Shot, One Dead in Oxon Hills Shooting

OXON HILLS, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Oxon Hill on Thursday, at around 5:55 pm.

The victim, identified as Neris Requeno Rodriguez, 47, from Temple Hills, was found in a vehicle with a gunshot wound.

Officers responded to the 6000 block of Oxon Hill Road, where Rodriguez was discovered and later transported to a hospital. He succumbed to his injuries hours later. Investigators are currently working to establish a motive and identify any suspects involved in the shooting.

The Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
