Man Found Shot in Face Found by Police, Dies At Hospital

BALTIMORE, MD — A homicide investigation is ongoing in the Southwest District of Baltimore following a fatal shooting. On December 2, 2023, around 3:00 p.m., patrol officers in the area of Edmondson Avenue and Wildwood Parkway were alerted to an incident at a bus stop in the 4000 block of Edmondson Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an unidentified male victim with a gunshot wound to the face. The victim was quickly transported to a hospital but was pronounced deceased shortly after.

The Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide detectives are leading the investigation. They urge anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 410-396-2100.
