BOSTON, MA – On Saturday, at 7:53 PM, officers in South Boston made an arrest involving firearms and drugs.

The incident occurred at 941 Massachusetts Avenue, where officers noticed a group of five individuals near a “No Trespassing” sign.

As officers approached, the group dispersed, and one individual, later identified as Alejandro Rodriguez, 18, of Boston, was observed limping away.

Upon refusing to remove his hands from his pockets initially, Rodriguez complied after multiple requests. A pat frisk revealed a Glock 22 with ten rounds in the magazine in his waistband and five plastic bags suspected to be crack cocaine.

Rodriguez faces charges including unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, possession of a large capacity feeding device, intent to distribute class B drugs, and trespassing. His arraignment is scheduled at South Boston District Court.
