22-Year-Old Shot and Killed in Raleigh

RALEIGH, NC – A shooting incident in Raleigh resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man on Saturday night. The Raleigh Police Department responded to a call at around 8:35 p.m. in the 100 block of Summit Avenue in the Caraleigh neighborhood near U.S. 401/South Saunders Street.

The victim, identified as Nicolas Ricardo Carrasco Domenec, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was initially taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

However, he succumbed to his injuries the following Sunday afternoon. As of the latest update, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

The Raleigh Police Department has cordoned off the area for investigation, with Summit Avenue blocked by crime scene tape and several police vehicles on Saturday night.
