NEWPORT NEWS, VA – The Newport News Police Department (NNPD) has issued an urgent appeal for public assistance in locating Sheila Bryant, a missing endangered adult. Bryant was last seen around 2 p.m. Sunday in the 500 block of Genneys Way.

Sheila Bryant, a 55-year-old Black female, stands approximately 5-feet-7 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and is distinguished by a rose tattoo on her chest. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a long black jacket adorned with fur around the neck.

Bryant is considered endangered due to a medical condition, heightening concerns for her well-being. The NNPD urges anyone with information about her whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or Newport News Emergency Communications at 757-247-2500. The department emphasizes the critical nature of this situation and appreciates the public’s help in ensuring Bryant’s safe return.
