Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Virginia Beach Boulevard

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — A fatal vehicle crash occurred on December 1 at approximately 7:35 PM in the 4800 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard. The Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) reports that a pedestrian was struck by an eastbound vehicle while crossing the boulevard.

Emergency services, including VBPD, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services, responded to the scene. The driver and passengers in the vehicle were unharmed and cooperated with the investigation.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Identification of the decedent’s next of kin is pending. The VBPD Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the incident, which remains open and ongoing.
