New York City Political Candidate Charged For Murdering His Mother Over Money Dispute

BROOKLYN, NY — Vladislav Deshkovich, a 30-year-old self-proclaimed “political candidate,” has been charged with the murder of his mother, Inna Deshkovich, 52, in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge neighborhood.

The incident, a result of a dispute over money, occurred in the family’s home on 93rd Street.

Deshkoviched has previously announced he was running for a seat in the New York state senate.

Police responded to a 911 call at 7:33 p.m. on Friday, finding Inna Deshkovich with multiple stab wounds to her neck. She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Vladislav was arrested the following morning.

Anne Sgoupis, a neighbor, reported that the victim’s ex-husband informed the police about the son’s demand for money from his mother. Other neighbors described Vladislav as “strange” and “off in a way,” adding to the complexity of this tragic event.

This case has drawn attention due to Vladislav’s previous political aspirations and his connections with local politicians, as seen on his Instagram account. The investigation is ongoing, with further details expected to emerge as the case progresses through the legal system.
