Shooter in Deadly Pittsburgh Saloon Shooting Turns Self In To Police

PITTSBURGH, PA – An incident recently occurred just off Brownsville Road, where a 28-year-old man was fatally shot on a porch behind Sophie’s Saloon. The shooting took place near Brownsville Avenue and Agnew Avenue in Carrick.

The victim, identified as Cole Kerns, was found with gunshot wounds to his head and shoulder. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical examiners.

Corey Rall, 25, is the suspected shooter and has turned himself in to the police following the issuance of an arrest warrant.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with the incident seemingly occurring suddenly among a group of people gathered on the deck. Local residents expressed shock and grief over the incident.

The Allegheny County medical examiner has confirmed Kerns’ death as a result of the shooting. Police are continuing their investigation into this incident.
