PHILADELPHIA, PA – A fatal double shooting occurred in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia.
The incident, reported just after midnight, resulted in the death of a 44-year-old man and the injury of a 45-year-old woman.
The man succumbed to his injuries at Einstein Medical Center, while the woman received treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound to the thigh. The Philadelphia Police Department responded to the scene on the 7300 block of Sommers Road.
No arrests have been made following the shooting, and investigations are ongoing.
