Willingboro Man Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for 2020 Murder

WILLINGBORO, NJ – Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that Kwacey Q. Owens, 32, of Willingboro, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the 2020 murder of Barry Barino, 28.

The sentence, delivered by Judge Mark P. Tarantino, requires Owens to serve the full term before parole eligibility.

The investigation, which began on October 8, 2020, revealed that Owens shot Barino outside his home on Maplewick Lane.

Owens, who knew Barino, lured him outside before committing the crime.

The weapon, a .45 caliber pistol, was later found at Owens’ residence.
