Allegheny County Democrat Charged with Election Fraud

HARRISBURG, PA – Attorney General Michelle Henry announced the recent arrest of Kirk Rice, a 64-year-old Allegheny County resident.

The man was involved in forging signatures on nomination petitions for the 2022 Democratic primary race in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District.

Rice, hired to gather signatures, was charged with multiple counts, including identity theft and forgery.

The investigation by the Office of Attorney General revealed many of the 437 signatures obtained by Rice were falsified.

Several signatories denied participation.
