Man Shot Multiple Times Near Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A shooting incident was reported near Jefferson Hospital at 101 S. 11th Street in Philadelphia, leaving one person injured.

A 22-year-old Black male sustained gunshot wounds twice in his left arm and twice in his stomach. The victim was transported to Jefferson Hospital from Methodist Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The exact location of the shooting and the motive behind the incident remain unknown. No weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s 6th District and the Shooting Investigation Group are conducting an active and ongoing investigation into this incident.
