Gunshots Ring Out Near Florida Parade

MIDDLEBURG, FL – While on duty at the Middleburg Parade on December 9, a Clay County Sheriff’s Office Deputy reported hearing sounds resembling gunshots at approximately 9:05 PM. Responding swiftly, deputies assigned to the parade detained four individuals in connection with the incident.

Initial investigations suggest that the incident was isolated, with no further threat posed to the community or the ongoing parade. Authorities have confirmed that there were no injuries resulting from the incident. The investigation is ongoing as the Sheriff’s Office continues to gather more information.
