Towing Company Owner Charged with Insurance Fraud

WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA – Vlad Andrei Ungvari, the 31-year-old owner of Glenn’s Towing, faced charges on Thursday, for fraudulent insurance claims.

The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, following a referral from the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, initiated the investigation.

The charges stem from a February 28 incident where a Toyota Camry crashed in Warrington Township, requiring towing services.

Ungvari’s fraudulent invoice to Travelers Insurance included charges for unrendered services, overbilling the insurance company by $1,380.

Ungvari was charged with filing a false insurance claim, unlawful use of a computer, and other related offenses. He was released on bail following arraignment by Judge Stacy Wertman.
