Unknown Intruder Entered Woman’s East Village Apartment and Got Into Bed With Her

NEW YORK CITY, NY – In a scary close-encounter incident in the East Village, police reported that on Wednesday, December 6, at around 2:30 AM, an unidentified man unlawfully entered an occupied apartment near East 11 Street and Avenue A.

The male intruder attempted to lie down in bed next to a 23-year-old woman who was asleep.

The woman awoke to find the individual next to her, prompting him to flee the location on foot. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from this incident. The intruder is described as a male with a dark complexion, around 5′ 9″ tall, weighing 170 lbs. He was wearing a blue hat, glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black and white jacket, beige sweatpants, and light-colored shoes at the time of the incident.

This event has raised concerns about residential security in the area, and local authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual responsible.
