Off-Duty FDNY EMT Arrested on Multiple Charges in NYC

NEW YORK CITY, NY — On December 9, at around 4:10 a.m., Syhon Rivers, a 28-year-old off-duty FDNY EMT, was arrested within the 114th Precinct. The arrest occurred under circumstances yet to be fully disclosed.

Rivers faces charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), and Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI) by Alcohol. The specific details leading to these charges have not been released.
