Richmond Man Arrested for Second-Degree Murder in Albemarle County

RICHMOND, VA – Ian Embry Legallo-Malone, 22, from Richmond, VA, was arrested for second-degree murder on December 10, 2023. The Albemarle County Police Department, assisted by the Charlottesville Police Department, located and arrested Legallo-Malone at approximately 6:54 pm inside a residence on the 700 block of Mosely Drive, Charlottesville, VA.

The arrest was made without incident. Legallo-Malone has been charged with second-degree murder under Virginia Code §18.2-32. He is currently detained at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
