BARNEGAT, NJ — Barnegat Blvd. was temporarily closed between Route 9 and Rosehill Road due to a vehicle fire, Barnegat Police Department reported. The incident occurred around 5:30 PM, disrupting traffic and prompting authorities to advise motorists to seek alternate routes.

By 6:00 PM, the vehicle involved in the fire had been cleared from the roadway. Subsequently, Barnegat Blvd. was reopened, allowing traffic to resume its normal flow. The police department efficiently managed the situation, ensuring public safety and minimizing disruption.
