NYPD Seeking Suspect in Subway Attack Triggered by Verbal Argument

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public help to identify a male individual linked to an assault at Fordham Road station.

On Monday, at around 2:35 am, a 25-year-old male victim was inside the station when he was approached by an unknown male, leading to a verbal dispute. The assailant then punched the victim in the face and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and around 25 years old. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.

The NYPD ha released images of the suspect and are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
