Two Men Charged Following Cherry Hill Bank Robbery

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cherry Hill Police Department have reported the arrest and charging of two men in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in Cherry Hill.

On Tuesday afternoon, at around 2:40 PM, Cory Amerman, a 32-year-old from Marlton, New Jersey, allegedly robbed the PNC Bank located at 803 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill. Amerman is accused of passing a note demanding money, receiving an undisclosed amount, and subsequently fleeing the scene.

Cherry Hill Police Detectives, in collaboration with Camden County Police Officers, located Amerman and Admir Hoornaert, a 48-year-old from Glassboro, N.J., in Camden City, near 10th Street and Market Street. Following a foot pursuit, Amerman was apprehended.

Cory Amerman faces first-degree robbery charges and is currently detained at the Camden County Correctional Facility. Admir Hoornaert, apprehended a day later on December 13, 2023, has been charged with first-degree Robbery, third-degree Receiving Stolen Property, third-degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hoornaert is also being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility.
