Felony DUI and Drug Charges for Ocean View Man in Rehoboth Beach

REHOBOTH BEACH, DE – The Delaware State Police arrested 44-year-old Ian McIntyre of Ocean View on felony DUI and drug charges on Friday.

McIntyre was found by a patrolling trooper at a Wawa gas station, asleep in his vehicle with a visible straw and white powdery substance.

Following field sobriety tests and a subsequent search, police discovered heroin, methamphetamine, Psilocybin mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia in McIntyre’s possession.

McIntyre, who has previous DUI convictions, now faces multiple felony charges, including DUI 3rd offense and drug possession with intent to deliver.

He was arraigned at Jstice of the Peace Court 3 and is being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on an $11,000 secured bond.
