Teen Stabbed to Death in Jersey City Friday Night

JERSEY CITY, NJ – The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit, in collaboration with the Jersey City Police Department, is actively investigating a tragic incident involving the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old male Friday night

Around 8:55 p.m. that evening, the Jersey City Police Department received a distress call regarding a stabbing in the vicinity of Duncan Avenue and Wilmont Street in Jersey City. Upon their prompt arrival, officers found an individual, later identified as Naseer Munroe from Jersey City, with an apparent stab wound to his torso. Emergency Medical Services rushed Munroe to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was sadly pronounced dead shortly after 10:00 p.m.

The exact cause and manner of Munroe’s death are currently awaiting determination by the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
