Bethesda Store Sells $50,000 Powerball Ticket Amid Rising Jackpot

BETHESDA, MD – As the Powerball jackpot continues to grow, a lucky ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Bethesda for the drawing on December 13. This ticket, along with 19,370 other winning Maryland tickets, was part of a series of wins that ranged from $4 to $100.

The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing were 3, 8, 41, 56, and 64, with 18 as the Powerball. The third-tier winning ticket was purchased at Woodmont Market, located at 8227 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda. This marks the 75th third-tier winning Powerball ticket sold in Maryland in 2023.

With no jackpot winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball jackpot has escalated to an estimated annuity of $535 million for the next drawing on Saturday, December 16. The estimated cash value of this jackpot is $257.6 million.

Lottery officials are urging all winners to sign the back of their tickets immediately and store them securely.
