Stabbing Incident at Dorchester Hotel Leads to Arrest

DORCHESTER, MA – On the afternoon of Sunday, Boston Police officers from District C-6 arrested Kourtney Godfrey, a 37-year-old resident of Roxbury, in connection with a stabbing at the Doubletree Hotel in Dorchester.

Responding to a call at 240 Mt Vernon St at around 4:25 PM, officers located four individuals suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Godfrey, the suspect, was detained at the scene by hotel security before police arrived.

All victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Godfrey has been charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (knife) and is expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court.
