Woman Injured After Shooting In Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police are actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Western District, leaving an adult female victim with non-life-threatening injuries.

Late yesterday afternoon, around 5:23 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of N. Warwick Street. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a crime scene and subsequently located the victim in the 2400 block of Lanvale Street. The woman had sustained apparent gunshot wounds but was in stable condition.

The victim was quickly transported to a local hospital for treatment. Western District Detectives have taken charge of the investigation and are seeking information from the public.
