Mt. Oliver Man Arrested on Drug and Gun Charges in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus announced the arrest of Glen Cleveland, a 22-year-old from Mt. Oliver, on drug and gun charges following a traffic stop on Pittsburgh’s South Side.

Deputies observed suspicious activity at the Amoco gas station at East Carson Street and 10th Street, leading to a traffic stop of a black Jeep Grand Cherokee at East Carson and 1st Street.

Cleveland, the driver, was found without identification, and deputies noticed a marijuana blunt and a prescription pill bottle in the vehicle.

A subsequent search revealed a loaded 9mm Beretta handgun, which was reported stolen from Monongahela, PA, and 6 suspected Hydrocodone pills.

Cleveland, whose concealed carry permit had been revoked, was arrested and transported to the Allegheny County Jail, awaiting arraignment on the charges.
