Armed Robbery at Family Dollar in Williamsport

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Williamsport Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar store on 1221 W. Fourth St on the evening of Monday.

At approximately 8:29 pm, officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of the robbery.

The suspect, described as a masked black male wearing a red and black jacket and black pants, confronted a female staff member, brandishing a gun and demanding money.

He fled east after taking cash and cigarettes. Despite a search, the suspect remains at large.
