Bronx Shooting Leaves 34-Year-Old Dead

BRONX, NY – In the early hours of Wednesday, December 20, 2023, a shooting incident occurred at 3836 Carpenter Avenue, within the 47th Precinct. Hector David, a 34-year-old male from 3827 Carpenter Avenue, Bronx, NY, was tragically killed in this event.

Police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired at approximately 3:39 AM. Upon arrival, officers found David with a gunshot wound to the left side of his torso. Emergency Medical Services swiftly transported him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was unfortunately pronounced deceased.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this shooting, and the investigation continues. The NYPD is actively seeking information and asks anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward to assist in their ongoing investigation.
