Police Arrest Delaware Man for DUI for the 5th Time

LEWES, DE – Delaware State Police arrested Shane Massey, 40, from Georgetown, Delaware, for his fifth DUI offense.

The arrest occurred on Tuesday, around 10:25 p.m. near Coastal Highway and Postal Lane.

A trooper dispatched to the location found Massey asleep at the wheel of a gray Jeep. Observing signs of impairment, the trooper conducted sobriety tests, leading to Massey’s arrest. A computer check revealed four prior DUI convictions.

Massey faces charges including DUI 5th Offense and is being held on a $6,100 cash bond.
