Rockville Police Seeking Fugitive Wanted for Intentionally Running Three People Over in Car

ROCKVILLE, MD – The Rockville City Police Department is actively searching for Walter Giovanni Marquez-Aviles, a 44-year-old man from Gaithersburg, Maryland, in connection with a vehicular assault on December 14, at 199 East Montgomery Avenue, which resulted in serious injuries to three individuals.

Marquez-Aviles, who is still at large, faces charges including three counts of Attempted Murder and three counts of First-Degree Assault.

The Rockville City Police, with support from allied law enforcement agencies, are working to apprehend him.

The department asks anyone with information regarding Marquez-Aviles’ whereabouts to contact the Rockville City Police Criminal Investigations Unit. The public can report anonymously.

Two victims, a 79-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man, are currently hospitalized. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
