Young Woman Latest Victim of NYC Subway Chain Snatching

NEW YORK, NY – On December 18, a chain snatching incident occurred on a southbound “2” train near the Prospect Avenue subway station, reported at approximately 10:20 AM. An 18-year-old female victim was approached by an unidentified individual who forcibly removed her chain before fleeing the scene.

The victim, fortunately, did not sustain any injuries during the incident. The suspect’s identity remains unknown, and they managed to escape on foot. Law enforcement officials are actively seeking information and assistance in identifying the perpetrator.
