Harrisburg Man Arrested for 2022 Double Homicide

HARRISBURG, PA – Kurt Darnell Tasker Jr. was arrested on Thursday, by the Harrisburg Bureau of Police in collaboration with the United States Marshals Service.

This arrest pertains to Tasker’s involvement in a double homicide that occurred on Sunday, March 13, 2022, in the first block of South 16th Street.

Tasker, wanted on criminal charges since April 19, 2022, faces two counts of homicide along with various firearms charges.

The Harrisburg Bureau of Police is actively seeking information related to this case. Members of the public with any knowledge about Tasker’s whereabouts prior to his arrest are asked to contact the Harrisburg Police at 717-558-6900 or submit tips via the CRIMEWATCH website.

Information leading to further developments may be eligible for a Crime Stoppers reward.
