Police Seek Two in Connection with Multiple Central Park Robberies

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying two individuals linked to a series of grand larceny incidents in Central Park Precinct and the 5 Precinct.

On November 30, at around 2:30 PM, a 30-year-old woman in Central Park, near East 74 Street and East Drive, became a victim of theft. An unidentified man snatched her Apple AirPod headphones and escaped on a blue two-wheeled vehicle driven by another person.

Minutes later, at approximately 2:45 PM, another woman, 31, faced a similar ordeal opposite 406 Broome Street. Her Apple AirPod headphones were also taken by an unknown man who fled south on Lafayette Street on the same blue vehicle.

The first suspect is a male, around 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, last seen in a black hooded jacket, black mask, blue jeans, and black sneakers. The accomplice, operating the vehicle, is a male with a light complexion and dark hair, dressed in a black hooded jacket, black backpack, black pants, and white sneakers.

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation of these incidents.
