AKRON, OH – The Akron Police Department (APD) requests public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a felony theft on December 8. The incident occurred at Gabe’s, located at 1890 W Market St.
The suspect, captured in surveillance images, is accused of stealing clothing items worth approximately $1200.
Attempts by Loss Prevention to stop the individual were unsuccessful, and the suspect has reportedly committed similar acts previously.
The APD asks anyone with information or the ability to identify the suspect to contact Detective Sgt. M. Joyner or use the available tip lines.
The public is advised not to approach the suspect and instead call 911 in case of sighting.
